I thought I'd start a thread on this to prevent the board being clogged with requests for various remixes.

To start with, Sheldon's excellent Scooter tribute 'Moped' Clocks version can be found at Diffusion Online.

Due to popular demand, we've extended the Moped track, and also tweaked it ever so slightly so that any radio show/station can play it (well you've got to maximise publicity haven't you).

Its available from http://www.diffusiononline.net/index.html#moped, though you may need to refresh your browser if you've visited the site recently!

Ok so in less than an hour (I am predicting) I will have the Clocks remixes that were on yesterday's show. There are 3 of them + the Good Catrina mix :)
I apologise now for Chris talking over the top of them :P

Don't suppose you do, but does anyone want my clean (No Chris talking) rock/guitar remix of clocks? should I send it to chirs a long with a good quality version of it being played on the show?

It was me, I was incredibly nervous 8O I hope it didn't show too much

We're sort of sniffing around record companies to see if any of them would be interested in taking an official Moped release but my experience with them so far is that there all a bunch of twots who wouldn't know a good record/idea if it came up and bit them on the arse

MORE TEA VICAR!

I have done 'a' Are You Being Served remix, but I've never sent it to Chris as its not that good though you may well have heard oit elsewhere. That said, loads of people have done remixes of it in the past so it might not have been mine that you've come across.

I seem to recall i think it was Scott Mills who played it and then used it as a bed but that was maybe a year ago or more.

does this mean the start of Scooter-esque parodies? A Scooter version of Blurs Parklife would be interesting.

All you need is audio editing software (cool edit or wavelab), a copy of Acid (http://www.acidplanet.com should see you there and lots of samples to muck around with. I also use Cubase SX and I've got hardware synth modules which featured on the Moped track for the lead synthy sounds.

Well, there should probably be a follow up I suppose, we've got a few ideas but any more suggestions and I'll put them to the lads.
