I hate predictive text, always guesses the wrong word and it pisses me off

well, I just changed my mind - decided after a year working in TV that it wasn't for me - yes it was fun at times but VERY stressful at others. It has VERY strange working patterns/hours and you get little free time/social life - the job HAS to be your life. Also it is a very insecure job - little promotion opportunities and more and more people are becoming freelance so to cut a long story short, I got out of there (Although I am not totally against going back at a later date if things don't work out)

At the moment I am doing a very boring job at the local council but it is a) Local b) cheap to get to work and quick c) money equals BBC but travel costs are down d) I have my social life back.

Teaching is very secure - pays ok and very well if you get ahead - hours aren't reallyantisocial - and I'm really quite interested in it. I can be the cool teahcer who used to work at Radio 1/Top of the pops..that would surely gain me credibility...hang on, no it wouldn't...I'd get shot by the pupils for being mad enough to leave a job like that to teach ..oh, and by the other teachers as well

in the time I posted my last essay 3 people had added new messages! and I guess by the time Ii've finished this one 3 more will be there too!

Predictive text is great, it doesn't always guess the wrong words if you use them regularly or add them to your dictionary and if it does you only have to click on the * button to cycle through alternatives (Not as some poeple think go into menu and list suggestions and through other lists like that!) and it's usually only one click of the * button anyway to the right word. I used to hate predictive text but when you get used to it (Which I reluctantly did) it is much much quicker - I have seen so many people converted to it. I quite scarily can type and send a message using all the letters up in 30 seconds..how sad's that...I timed it! and it had no spelling mistakes! I won a copmpetition in our office at work on Radio 1 TV..my boss was well impressed but then it does take him about 1 year just to open the write message screen!

A) I can't teach Spanish because 1) I don't speak it 2) I have to teach business studies because that's what my degree is in

B) I knwo you were being sarcastic but Predective text would not bring up Hello if you just typed H you woudl have to type 5 letters which fell on the same keys as Hello!
