Get a 2-way jack and plug one end into the line-out socket in your PC the other end into a line-in socket on a tape recorder.

Alternatively you could get a tape deck with 2 tape drives and use one of those tape adapter things that you use to play CDs from a portable CD player in the car.

You need to have a line in socket on the recorder though, most tape players don't have them.

Alternatively you could burn a CD with what you on it, then record from the CD.

I could yes... but (this is why I don't want to/can't) the CD player that is attached to the recorder is broken, for some reason it won't read my CDs so I will have to wait until it is fixed

like iwth a spectrum if u ajust the volume to 9.5 then use a small screw driver to ajust the head you wont get tape loading error, but remember dont touch the ram pack :)

hope this helps

If you even so much as breath while a Spectrum was loading you'd get a tape loading error. I always used to go and shut myself away while I waited for the infernal games to load up.

No, not anymore. It's fairly unreliable these days and it doesn't give a very good picture. We're going to keep it for 50 years or so and sell it for a fortune when it becomes antique! Imagine a ZX Spectrum on Bargain Hunt! What would the Duke think of that?

Nah, these days I've got a speccy emulator and with the know-how you can convert all your tapes to .tap or .z80 files. The advantage is they load in about 1 second!

What no screaching that just isnt cricket -part of the charm i always thought. Not a bad idea to keep hold of it though hmm my first airloom

Well true, but I don't really have the patiance to wait 10 minutes for a game to load these days! You can slow it down if you really want to, but I never bother. You never get the 'R Tape loading error' message which is also a great advantage!

This one looks very similar to the one I've got:

Ah look at that - a thing of beauty. Did anyone have a 48k the predecessor with the rubber keys or an Amiga, Commodore 64, BBC. The golden age of game playing
