The reviews were only bad because we were, not the other way around.

To be honest though, I think the show has improved since we had that rant.

Said in my review today (since I know the only person who reads it is Aled ya lazy sods) that the show is better (and has been very good today I thought) but it would be good if we could have a new regular feature, such as Viaduct etc. Tedious link is great but not exactly a feature. Just someat to give the show a bit more structure, however much I like the randomness.

sorry i took that bit about the show being better sam as i dont agree, todays was a hotch potch of a show, this week has been pretty dire, its no wonder that there is no sony nomination this year.

todays show wasn't sooo bad, but i must say, i was a little sad to hear a "clip show" ala golden girls. this was the first show i've been able to listen to in MONTHS, and it was stuff i already heard.

at least i heard the dulcet tones of my beloved greyhead....

Now I can't comment too much, as I don't get the chance to listen that often now. :cry:

However, I'm not sure whether anyone will agree with me on this, but I think the show is not as good as it was for one reason: when Moyles was less well known you wasn't hearing all sorts about him being great, once he gets more famous he maybe (and Aled may be able to say that I'm wrong) started to believe his own hype.

I listened to Mark and Lard yesterday (had a day off) and I thought it was pure class. I love the "embarassing moments" feature.

Mark and Lard = genious they may repeat features but they rotate them every few months to stem the boredom. However it may be the same but its always funny.

Mark and Lard are consistently funny. They are more experienced plus for the fact theyve known each other for a long time. Moyles has good and bad shows, sometimes hes a bit of a hypocrite calling people ugly and fat when he is one himself, you see the more funnier moments are when Chris is exposed as not being perfect.
The reason why people tuned into Chris first was not for football chat, thats the problem. Everyone talks about football with their mates, they dont wanna hear someone whos barely knows anything about football rabbiting on.

i tune in to Mark and Lard every few months and when i do it's not just the same features, it's exactly the same non-funny jokes. they just go on and on and on.

Educate thyself
