You have to come down to cornwall to get areal cornish pasty.
Unfortunately the further north you go the more crap your pasties are. I mean the crimping is top, it should along the side. And carrots? why oh why...... Cheese and onion is for wimps, but i do like the new posher pasties like stilton and steak

The miners pasty is a delicay - one end is savoury (fish/beef/lamb/pig) and the other end sweet (jam/apple)
They used to take there dinner and desert down in it own very carry case - the pasty that incapulated the two....

u lot are hilarious, ive just read through all the posts on this topic, it sounds like your all pregnant with bizarre cravings!! il put my bita crazy cravings in 4 ya and marmite lovers should definatley try it coz its well nice, reach for the weetabix and spread a thick layer of butter on it followed by a generous helping of marmite!! plz try it and tell me wotcha think!!

hp sauce yum yum yum! and cheese and onion pasties are not for wimps! they're just about the only pasties i can eat because most of the others have meat in i used to love cornish pasties...oooh they were goooood.

jonny- next time i come over, you must treat me to a propper pasty. the "cornish" town is one of the old dead mining towns left over from the gold rush, which is why the were seeling pasties.

tomato sauce on toast sounds rank, gaspode. but tomato soup and toast is yummers.

hp sauce is great, but very hard to find and a bit pricey here. but it's worth it once in a while.

and what's with these crisp flavours? marmite? beef and onion? in america it's rather plain. i think the weirdest i've had was dill, and it was actually nice. jalapeño is the best though. rowr!
