Ever since Mel and Rhys left I felt it started going way down hill, Will and Lizzie just aren't as funny and don't provide as much entertainment. after they left it could never really have been as good

After listening to some old shows on tape, it was clear to see just how poor recent shows are in comparison.

My opinion:

Bugger all listener involvement. Even opening the lines for 10mins would be interesting and unpredictable.

Guess Who was good to start with but they must do about 15 a week now.

Sport Talk. Good for the first week, not every flippin day.

All the training talk is boring, not worth listening to.

1 or 2 good Culshaw phone calls a week would be nice.

Maybe if they read out some funny newspaper articles occasionaly it would be good.

They definitley need to take the piss out of each other more. Lizzy hardly says anything, and Will just isn't funny.

Good topic Bob, it all went wrong when Mel and rhys left, Will Kinder is a twat(sorry Kendra) i don't have a problem with Lizzie though.

personally i think hes just become another celeb too scared to say what he thinks. It wouldnt take much to turn it around but i dont hold much hope.

I'm in agreement with Charmaine, Poppy and Everlast, it all went downhill after Rhys and Mel left. The team were no longer a close group like they were. They don't take the piss enough, and Moyles doesn't do his rants much anymore. A new team would be good, but keeping Dave of course. Bring back Rhys from his management job, and Mel from Australia!!

The format works over 2 hours but when it was stretched over 3 hours and got in one of the worst producers in the history of radio 1

despite what people said the zoe ball radio one breakfast show was crap- and who was that produced by.....

Could it not be that now Chris has reached the grand old age of 28, that childish, immature behaviour that made all of us laugh out loud at least once a day has shrivelled up and died. I must admit, that Grey-'ed may have had some effect on the show, but being an old fan I believe the old Moyles could easily have risen over his boring, unfunny producer.

I agree that it was when the show went to 3 hours but its also gone down hill since they stopped doing the Saturday show. That in my opinion was loads better than the weekday one is. Also I know wish that Moyles would have taken the Big Breakfast job.

Seriously though, I think the different team situation is not too much to blame. It did start off really well with the 'greyhead micktake thing' but that sense of taking the mick has dissappeared now. And it really shows.


Still dont give up on them yet please!
