If you're planning to commit fraud, here's what not to do. A man - who
cannot be named for legal reasons - recently rang an insurance claim
investigator called Loss Management Group (LMG) on his mobile to report
the theft of various items of jewellery. He said he'd lost seven pieces in
all, including two pocket watches, two gold chains and a gold watch, all
bought from antique markets.
So far, so good. He did indeed seem to be insured, so the company began to
process his claim.
Our hero got off the line to LMG, and put his mobile back in his pocket.
He then began to brag to a colleague and told him the real story: he had
never actually owned any of the items but had made the claim against
documents he'd found in a house clearance.
Still so far so good. However, our bungling villain had accidentally
pressed the 'redial' button on his phone when placing it in his pocket.
LMG automatically records all calls 'for training and monitoring purposes'
and so caught the whole conversation on tape.
There really are no bounds to human stupidity.

I got this from an Email I get sent each week, but think about it, how can it be true? You couldn't get through to a person on the phone to a call centre by just hitting redial, you'd have menu systems to navigate and stuff

Quite funny though. Fraud is something I would never get involved with. Only crime in this country (I think) where you are guilty till proven innocent, * that.
