got up at 6am, programmed the video for 7 till 10:10am just incase they ran over. Went back to bed. Got up at 10:45am and watched it. Left feeling sad but a bit pissed off cos there was not even a CList celeb there never mind an Alist one.

as i had no work i thought i'd watch it. The funniest bit was Jonny Vegas freestyling to McMegaman on the megaphone "i'm like a black man but i'm white"......................it was one of those got to be there moments.

ok I just have to say that the big breakfast was crap. There were never any "glory days" it has always been rubbish employing people of very little talent (kelly brook, vanessa feltz, richard bacon, amanda byrom.....). The only reason people even liked it was because the rest of morning telly is shite (although that sophie raworth mmmmm). It gave us jonny vaughn (see crap sitcom, poor chatshow) and Chris Evans (annoying danny baker puppet).

The show was poor, im glad its gone an lets hope for something better.

thats it- channel four are getting rid of all their good programmes... chris evans summed up the whole feeling... channel four got rid of tgi fridays.

what would it be like if andy parthick got rid of the Chris Moyles show.... i'm sure the loyal fans of BB, feel like us that there might be a prostect that Moylesworld will be binned for something else.

what are tv channel bosses being paid these days? peanuts??

like 8 million people will tune into the new style bb, which is called rise i think. then it will drop to 800,000 people that it was getting for bb.

if its anyone that should be sorting themselves out it should be itv. Gary Bushell laid straight into them and told them to get rid of Blind Date and Laugther Files with Dennis Norton.

I watched only the last hour of BB, I forgot about it
I only watched it in the summer holidays, wasn't that bothered it was going. But was very sad watching it all. The presenters obviously very bitter that they got axed.

The BB was one of the best shows on telly and Richard Bacon is a living genius. The gnome thing was brilliant, I was in stiches. I wonder who thought of that? My guess is that Amanda didn't even know they were going to do it, they cut to a shot of her and she had her hand over her mouth in shock. I don't understand why it was axed, give it a few more months and a couple of fresh ideas and I reckon it could have got back on its feet. Come on channel 5, do yourselves a favour and buy a decent show for a change. Actully, I think it could take over the Saturday Show cos that really is crap.

if they'd given vegas a fair shot at it it'd be good. bakon was good, there's no denying, but he was never an evans and not in the same league as vaughan. byrom and other female presenters played it half and half with him and he never took the complete lead, whereas vaughan and van outen complimented each other brilliantly.

it may've improved, it may've not. it'd reached the effective slump as moyles has done now. it's tough to call when it's just a bad spell or it's turned thoroughly sour as i'm sure you'll agree in both cases.

there'll always be a gap in the market for a big breakfast type program, it just takes the guts of someone to have confidence in a new program, such that they'll be able to take the media comparisons and hype towards it being a pretender to the bb.

it was a * good idea at the start. nice one geldoff.

I'm sorry for besmirching all of you Ricard Bacon but isn't he an average presenter with a good gimmick?
