Perhaps the growing female constigna on here can help explain the phenomenon whereby any variation of one degree above or below human body temperature results in the fairer sex being 'boiling' or 'freezing' repectively?Yesterday was probably the nicest day since of the year so far and I took the liberty of inviting a little sea air into the house by opening a window.Thirty seconds later my girlfriend announced that she was 'freezing' and slammed shut the window in the manner that women do when there is to be no democratic process involved.We then embarked on a trip to to the pier,and to be fair it was colder in the car than expected so I put the heater on low.Suddenly she became 'boiling'-not comfortably warm mind,nor a little flushed-but 'boiling'......
Later there followed another male/female inponderable....chips.I fancied a bag of chips,so I asked the good lady if she would care to join me."No.." said she I'LL HAVE SOME OF YOURS" No need said I,I shall purloin for you your very own bag of chips.
"I don't want a whole bag" she said "I'll share yours"
"But I DO want a whole bag" says I, "I'll get us both a bag of chips and if you don't want all yours then give them to me-or throw them away"
"You're just selfish and greedy" came the predictible response.Any clues?

my mum's like that and she's all menopausey. if i'm on the phone for ages she shouts at me then goes bright red and has to go for a lie down.

All sensible thought that you thought they possessed until then was literally thrown out the window like the chips.

Dont ask for logic - it isnt there - although if you try to be illogical you will have it thrown back in your face.

All this is non stop the minute you become married - so steer away from that one.

I gave up trying to understand the female psyche long ago - especially when the painters are in!
