Chris,

Bit of a weird and nosey question, I know, - sorry! - but when you say your "ADSL", does that mean you've got BT's Broadband??????

The reason I ask, is that I'm due to have BT's "Home 500 Plug & Go" package of Broadband activated on Monday, April 15th (is that what you've got??) - and I was a bit concerned to read that you were waiting for then to "fix" it!! :? - Have you had major problems then, or is it just a one off???? - Fill me in if you would!!

Thanx!

James.

Yes, it's broadband - it's not the plug and go variety, I've had it for about 18 months now.

Problems? Not frequent, but annoying when they occour. Mine is an extra big problem currently which is involving the manufacturers of the exchange equipment. 6 days and still down. Hmm ...

Me again Chris!....

Sorry, but I'm not one of the most "technical" people in the world, and so can I ask a thick question??

How are you getting online if your Broadband service isn't working?

Cheers,
James.

Oh right!!! - I see!

So, surely, due to that, you're having to pay extra - because I bet you're still having to pay you're monthly Broadband Fee even though there's a problem with it, and on top of that you'll have your dial up charges.
