No doubt this will be nicked by the BBC and renamed slightly better but using as little of the licence fee payers money as possible, this is the place for you to state why your town should be crowned Moylesworlds Best Town In Britain 2003. I am the judge and you have to put forward the reasons why your town is great. Furthermore if you think your town is crap, you can get the coveted Worst Town in Britain accolade. So under starters orders go.

I nominate Market Bosworth for the best town. Here are my reasons:

1. It's quite possibly one of the smallest towns in the country, and is distinguished from a village by the fact that it has a market on Wednesdays.
2. We won Britain in Bloom in 1988 and we were European runners up for the prestigeous 'Best kept town' award in 1989.
3. Possibly one of the most significant battles in English history took place near Market Bosworth in 1485. How many towns can say that?
4. It's in the heart of the country and is easily accessible from anywhere.
5. It has a large country park.
6. It has a steam railway line.
7. It has a great water sports centre, which Sam visits occasionally.
8. We have tremendous local amenities such as a chip shop, a chinese take-away, a co-op, a newsagents and a post office as well as plenty of souvenir shops.
9. We have 4 great pubs and the land-lords are all really friendly.
10. We have a 3-star hotel.
11. We have 3 schools, a primary school a secondary school and a grammer school.
12. The house prices are high which isn't really a good think.
13. Sam likes it.
14. New this year, The Market Bosworth Festival featuring the legendary Lindesfarne who had a hit with 'Fog on the Tyne' featuring Gazza.
15. We're only a few miles away from Twycross Zoo.

So there you have it. A nice little portfolio me thinks.

I also would like to nominate Market Bosworth (lets just leave Wolverhampton alone shall we?), a couple of extra reasons to add to Sidla's

It's pretty
Some scary and yet mysterious and therefore quite sexy motorbike man lives there or near there, who I kept seeing everywhere I went last time was there. At one point I was convinced he was coming straight for me on my little bicycle and was gonna run me over, but I think I might have an overactive imagination. That doesn't help the cause much does it?
Its right next to a couple of villages called Sheepy Magna and Sheepy Parva, which in my little world I find hysterical. To access these from Appleby (or some kind of name involving Apple, I forget), travel down Sheepy Road!

Funny I don't really find that particularly funny, but I wouldn't would I? My mum was raised at Barton-in-the-Beans.

I probably know him, let me know what he looks like and I could tell you his name.

I dunno what he looks like, he was in leathers with a helmet on everytime I saw him. He must think I'm a mad stalker or something cos he was everywhere I went.

Ok, hows about Sheffield then. The night life is great, it's full of Students, you can buy food any time of the day or night if you go to the right place and it's the 3rd largest city in England.
