look, i would like to start this thread, its like a sort of quiz thing, and its like wwhat me and ASG were doing in another thread, only this can be about ALL of the Harry Potter books. Including the new one, which i have read all of. By the way, Do you seriusly wanna know who dies?

Don't tell anyone who dies Baby bear, why would anyone want to know? I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books because
a) I refuse to become part of this whole publicity stunt thing, and one of the people who has to get up qat bloody midnight to get it cos they can't wait till morning
b) I feel like I know the whole story anyway (the answer is another face of some sort)
and c) 'Lyra's Oxford' is out 28th October and thats far more important, but I bet it won't get any of this amount of publicity.

I've got nothing against Harry Potter, I think its great that young children are reading and blah blah blah, I'm just sick of hearing about it. Plus I do intend to read them when all the fuss has died down, but I know that some moron is gonna blurt out who dies cos they think they are so very funny, and I just think its a shame that what I have been told are great books are getting completly ruined for other people.

I've almost finished the 4th book. I couldn't put it down this morning, which means I've only just got round to having lunch.

And Nablo, I really don't know what you're talking about. I never guessed who it was and I don't think it was obvious at all.

Please please please don't spoil any of the 5th book, I'm going to be reading it soon. That applys to all the other books too, just incase anyone hasn't read them.

What the hell are you going on about? If your talking about the forth book, yes it is I guessed who it was straight of meeting them and the more I read the more it fell into place.

Well it may not have been from the very first page I knew but once I'd met said person it was obvious and if you have learnt anything from the previous books it should of been more clear.

Now thats a book I want to read. It is now on my christmas list (only 6 months!!). Philip Pullman is a damn good author.

i also have been reading the books since long before the movies, and as i read the 3rd one first, maybe it wasnt as long ago as you, ASG, but i read it almost as soon as it came out, and i read the others soon afterwards, cos my friend nicked them from school, cos at the time, hardly anywhere stocked them!
