I agree with Nablo - I passively smok as I go to pubs and stuff, but if I didn't like it I wouldn't go. Also, my housemate is a smoker.

i smoke 10 a day and i want to quit

problem is, if someone has been smoking for a long time it becomes part of who they are and it'd seem unusual if they didnt smoke. this is the case with me. ive been smoking for longer and more consistently than anyone else my age that i know and they know me as the smoking guy. its very fecked up.

How about aiming to do 9..8 and so on? Worth a try, then save the money in a jar and treat yourself. Probably not that easy though, I thought giving up chocolate for Lent was bad enough and that stuff isn't really addictive.
