Dont let Chris telling you to buy the Travis album make you go and buy it. I unfortunately bought the second week it came out and i was thoroughly disappointed. Sing was the only song released at that time but i knew that Side and Flowers In The Window would have been picked as singles because they are catchy. The other 9 however are dirge. What makes it even worse is that Side, Flowers and Sing have been overplayed that I hate them now too. Do yourself a favour and download the 3 singles from audiogalaxy or winmx because the rest of the album is dire. Or if you are devoted buy their first album "Good Feeling" which will be probably midprice in your local HMV. Its far better.

i have the album "the man who" it's ok but i hate it when you get an album and all your favourite tracks from it get released as singles. an example is the hives, i got a free cd from kerrang containing the hives' main offender. i thought it was great so i bought the hives' album and straight away main offender was released as a single.
I think it makes a song less special when everyone has it. They should keep some of the good songs and not release them seperately.
But record companies are only out for money

Travis fall into the category of simple chorus itis

every song of their's has one word repeated at least three times in every chorus of every song...
After seeing them live- the one thing that was severely lacking was the album tracks, very very very dull.... I was constantly looking at my watch- a sure sign of boredom. I enjoyed the doves who were in support. My tip for people who like the singles, wait for the greatest hits.....

"Sunny days
Where have you gone?
I get the strangest feeling you belong
Why does it always rain on me?
Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?
Why does it always rain on me?
Even when the sun is shining
I can't avoid the lightning"

Forgive me but I find Travis EXTREMELY depressing.

Please tell me I'm the only one who doesn't feel like the world is going to end when one of their songs are played.

KoRn is great for bad moods, I find listening to them sends me into a bad mood.
