It is still as fantastic as it was first time. Jarvis and Albarn are quite funny but Noel, Liam and the tribute band Wonderwall are priceless. Anyone else seen it?

yeah the time for real change. i remember that whole election night even john prescott dancing seemed like a good thing for the country. anyone see the beeb irony though of putting on a fame academy trail after it?

liam gallagher is a genius.

liam is trying hard to be a rockstar an fair play to him. he puts up that act an to be honest its brilliant there isnt many of them left. he believes in the music an it just summed it up when he asked what androdgenous (sp?) meant "you mean am i a bird?" you cant teach that.

hes a character that can sing though the fatal flaw with that peter from fame academy. as for fame academy an the like it is what followed that period (i would say replaced cos frankly it didnt). comment of the whole thing for me by that tasty bird from sleeper "pop music is the default setting for the music industry".

I think true britpop early-mid 90's is pretty much dead now :( which is such a shame... also I wonder how can one brother outpeform the other in every way.. i think liam needs help; i can see him doing something stupid - he dosnt look a happy man

Liam is a god. He may not be the sharpest knife in the rack but he is one of the few real rockstars (or maybe the only one) left in this country and although the things he says may not be to your liking, he is honest and isn't afraid to tell it how it is. Like Staticfish said though, he doesn't look too happy at the minute (No idea why if he's waking up next to Nic Appleton every morning)

Noel and Damon Albarn will make music for a long time yet and will both be really successful for years to come. Just a bit sad and ironic they hate each other (or certainly Noel hates Damon). On the unseen interview clips on the DVD extras he is asked about him and doesn't pull any punches. As much as I admire Noel, I think it's a bit sad that he can't forget about something that happened 6/7 years ago.

I wouldn't call him a god, nor even a huge rockstar. I still think his talent makes up about 20% of Oasis. He just seems really bitter towards life now

I agree he does seem quite bitter now, but I think that his talent makes up more than 20% of Oasis. He is the lead singer and to be lead singer of such a huge band you need to have a fair bit of talent in you.

You do remember watching it how great music was in the 90's. You had Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Elastica, The Verve, Primal Scream, Suede, Cast, Massive Attack, Portishead, Menswear, Supergrass etc.

Now we've got Blue, Busted, David Sneddon, S Club Juniors, Atomic Kitten and Gareth Gates.

It's a good job for Coldplay and Feeder - and for new bands such as The Darkness, Libertines etc, or the British Music Industry would be flat on it's arse

to be fair to damon albarn (im not his biggest fan) he seemed embarresed by the whole argument with oasis thing an seemed to accept it was his peoples fault.

I couldn't agree more, although I think coldplay and feeder are getting a little tired now. Coldplay seem to be played everywhere ALL the time :|

I play my Comfort in Sound album all the time, along with Athlete and The White Stripes. Coldplay are genius, better than Oasis were IMO.

Best bands of the 90s - Pulp and Blur - although most of those in the list above I still love listening to.
