You can ban by user name, host name/ IP or email address. Bit difficult to do IP if he's on a network (which I guess is unlikely in the holidays), but otherwise they could do it.

Look. This is for Nablo, Kendra, Gaspode and anyone else who thinks they have a right to use the board for any ego strengthening purposes.

You do not have a right to be here more than anyone else, so don't kid yourself that you do. I take offence to the way, that when anyone new comes to the board, or someone dosnt agree totally with your paticular point of view, they get publicly slammed.

i don't hate you at all. i also want to go on the record that i don't hate new comers to the board. some of them seem to think that by "making waves" that will make friends. if they are truly witty and creative it works. if they are not so clever it does become tedious. new people who seem to be using this board as an ego exercise are despicable, just as old timers doing the same thing. if it seems to some that i need to belittle people here to make myself feel better you are either a- too sensitive or b- taking me too seriously. this is what i do to past time at work. perhaps i should take more care in crafting my posts.
