Creating Your Own SoundPaks:
It is possible to create your own SoundPaks for use with the Sound Machine by following these simple instructions. If your Pak is good, feel free to submit it to
mailto:[email protected] and we may add it to the site.
Collect together 11 sound files you want to use in your SoundPak.
Ensure your sound files are in MP3 format
Using WinZip (or similar) create a new zip file containing your eleven sounds names 1.mp3, 2.mp3 .. 11.mp3
Optionally create a Pak Info file for your SoundPak and add it to your zip file. This is a text file called 'PakInfo' (no extension) with the following format:
SoundPak Title
SoundPak Author
Sound 1 Text
Sound 2 Text
...
Sound 11 Text
You should be careful not to use either commas (,) or quotation marks (") in your file. If you wish to type the & character, you should enter it twice (Chris && Moyles will display on the Pak Info window as Chris & Moyles).
Rename your zip file SoundPakX.pak where X is a number from 0 to 19
Place your SoundPak in the soundpaks/ folder off the main SoundMachine folder
