Interesting point, I'm 15 and I really like listening to Moyles, so does my best mate who is 15... so does his Mum, but my Dad, his Dad and my Mum can't stand him because he "talks too much"
I think so what! It's better than listening to the same songs over and over again.
How old are you lot and do your mates like Moyles or what?

i'm 18 and most of my mates at college listen to him. we don't really seem to talk about him much (apart from the brilliant american thing) but when everyone leaves at the end of the day you can hear him on their car radios which is quite funny.

I'm 20 and I listen to him at work. The stereo at work is tuned to Leicester Sound [shudder] They don't like Radio 1 because there's "too much talking". They don't agree with the idea that a radio dj should do more than introduce records. Anyway, thank god for my personal radio.
Paul.

I never used to listen to radio shows until i heard moyles a few years back. It was different then shows i had heard before crammed with irony and cynicism berift of cheesy dj's or 'faux' club promoters. The lack of planning, banter and bitchiness has gathered many ardent listeners who are more interested in the links then the records. Considering the composition of Radio 1's playlist, if moyles deceided to play more records and fewer links I think i wouldn't bother listening to the show. Moyles is like a diamond in the rough at the moment.
Remember followers, Garage is the music of the lord of dance, DJ Spooney. Don't be weak.
PS- If the big man reads this, can you please do some more challenges like the office olympics as those links were highly amusing

I'm 15 and I've listened to Moyles for about a year now. He's the only radio show I've ever listened to and my friends don't like him. Me and my best mates boy drive her made talking about him cos he loves him to and she hates him! HA HA!
