Chris said this morning that Will was involved in something behind the scenes to do with the show! And that he was in the post show meeting.

I guess he's talking about the one at the begining of a show where it's sound clips cut up and put together (like on afternnons where it was like 'What shall we tell the child if it asks where it came from..Chris Moyles...'). But the new ones don't sound as good as the olds one in my opinion.

I doubt it, I didn't think they'd planned that far ahead for the breakfast swap. If he had stayed wouldn't he of been on the Radio 1 Staff Photo aswell?

At first I thought Will might of just been back using his TV skills for the Fitness videos but it does sound like he is more behind the scenes on the show now.

I'd be inclined to agree, if comment have been made about Will working "behind the scenes" hes probably just done a simple step-up-the-ladder and looking at moving into the world of executive producing now. Perhaps, could well be wrong though...

Has anybody tried emailing his old BBC address to see if theres any reply? He might be working there but wasnt on the staff photos as some people asked not to be put on the site.

they wouldnt hide will being made exec producer at all.

i think he just went into tv production to break into it because he's always liked it but missed the radio scene (otherwise they wouldnt have been able to say he was at tiger aspect).

i think maybe missing the old job, or even still pursuing the tv thing but keeping in touch with the bbc because thats always useful

No doubt that with the new breakfast show they've had a (no-doubt small) increase in budget, allowing them to employ somebody as freelance, or as an advisor to the show. The budget probably isn't a problem, as they've took on in the past John Culshaw and that Jonathan Pearce.
