i actually got up and listened to the whole show for a change lucky i did and this seems to happen to most outside broadcast show's they do

You've got to remember the BBC geek department have got to encode the show and put it onto the site. Probably takes time and it's not their only job.

I assume it is automated - shows broadcast at 4am are online within 5 minutes. I could probably set it up with a bit of VB and a hell of a lot of bandwidth.

Being geeky, did anyone think the show sounded distorted this morning? On my AV thing it sounded a over loaded rubbish, especially when they where talking.

most, if not all chris moyles outside broadcasts sound rubbish, so i'm used to it, aslong as i can hear it, i couldnt care less

I couldn't listen to it yesterday (Haven't tried today). It sounded as if it had alot of echo on constantly.

being geeky. the listen again thing works automatically from the recording the studio source. However being in a different studio may have had something to do with it, but i'd of thought the Londonderry studio would of just been feeding their audio to the same studio Moyles is in every day, so it wouldnt make much of a difference.

As far as OB's go, I think its the best sounding one yet. You'd hardly tell they were out the studio. But there were certainly times, especially when Chris was going abit loud when mad with people etc, that he was distorting.
