Scott Mills will be depping for Chris on breakfast for a couple of weeks while he goes on holiday.

That's from next week (beginning on Tuesday cos of the Bank Holiday) until Friday 14th May. Chris will then return on Monday 17th May.

Can't be long now till Coxy goes on maternity leave and Scott gets afternoons. Anyone know if there's a set date for that in the schedule?

Also for anyone who doesn't know, Dave and Chappers new sports show starts on Saturday 15th May at 1pm.

I think Wes has took Mills role at Radio 1 really an if they don't give Mills a show soon its a bit unfair. I used to dislike him intensly but he is much improved.

From the end of May:
The new weekday daytime schedule will be:
0400-0700 Nemone
0700-1000 Chris Moyles
1000-1300 Jo Whiley (including Newsbeat)
1300-1500 Colin & Edith
1500-1800 Scott Mills (including Newsbeat)
1800-2000 Dave Pearce

And the new Saturday schedule will be:
0700-1000 Spoony
1000-1300 Vernon Kay
1300-1500 Chappers & Dave
1500-1700 Trevor Nelson

And the new Sunday schedule will be:
0700-1000 Spoony
1000-1300 Vernon Kay
1300-1600 Edith Bowman
1600-1900 The Official Chart Show with Wes

New Radio 1 signings JK & Joel will take over Saturdays (1300-1500hrs) and Sundays (1300-1600hrs) from early August.

I hadn't thought about that to be honest. You're right though, I can't see where they will fit him into the schedule at all. It's JK and Joel's last show on Key 103 tomorrow BTW so they will have near enough three months off before joining Radio 1, which seems a bit bizarre.

thats merley a rumour. There are ALWAYS radio one schedule rumours. Mark and Lard were rumoured to be leaving years before they did.

Scott mentioned today that his first show in Coxy's timeslot will be on June 7th. Hope this helps....
