Unfortunately the main server that powers the Sound Vault will become unavailable to us in a very short while, so our hunt for hosting is on again. The sound clips will shortly go offline until a new home has been found.

If you are a company or individual with access to a high speed server then please get in touch with us at mailto:[email protected]. If applicable, we are happy to offer sponsorship messaging on the Sound Vault in exchange for your resources.

We will need a reasonable amount of space, but more importantly a large amount of bandwidth. This isn’t something your free web space or a personal machine on ADSL will be able to help us with.

All that the server staus does is checks whether a file stored on the specific server is on or offline. I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

The Sound Vault has now been moved to a new server thanks to the generosity of the people at Alastria Hosting. All the sound clips are now being served from their super-fast servers.

Due to the fantastic response we received it looks like we will be able to add some Sound Vault mirror servers over the coming days. More details on this will follow.

i was trying to download the 'Cider Stream' Advert in the sound vault today but it didn't work, anyone else have a go and see if it doesn't work please?
