I've got my dad a mini ipod for Xmas and it wasn't that expensive.

Mini ipods are spawn. I keep meaning to phone Apple and send it back. The battery life is down to half an hour. It never once lasted the full 6-8 hours, not even 6.

Waste of money. It looks nice, and the wheel and buttons are good., But it has no radio, can't record radio, 4GB, well I filled it very quickly..

I wish I had invested in an Iriver, just glad that mines was a present for passing some highers.

He managed to fit all his CDs on it but true you can't record off of the radio which is a pest.
