I know, I always wanted a chocolate one, but my mum always refused to get me one, then one year she did, it was such a disappointment, I ended up saving the chocolate till the 25th and having it all then, so it would be a fair amount of chocolate!

If you have a celebrations advent calender then you get a fair bit of chocolate with it everyday.

that sounds like a posh advent calendar. i always had cheap nasty ones where the chocolate had that white powder on it due to age. i don't much miss it.

Naa they tasted like cheap nasty advent calanders but they had a big price tag however.

At least you had chocolate in your advent calenders when you were kids. Didn't have chocolate back in my day. You just had to guess what the picture was behind the door and hide the dissapointment when you thought it would be a Christmas tree, and it was a picture of a candle.
