The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

It may be different this year, but my Christmas morning routine has been set in stone these last five years or so:
8.00am:up
8.05am: Wrap Presents
8.35am:Mother gets up bearing huge pile of meticulously wrapped goodies
8.40am:Mother recieves small bottle of perfume and bubble bath.Father gets some terrible C.D which frankly I was embarresed to buy.
9.00am Breakfast, including 'Bucks Fizz' and a ferrero rocher-which none of us really want.
12pm: Off to my Grandparents to recieve socks,'adidas sport' aftershave and/or tartan shortbread.Cousons exchange trinkets (ice scraping kit/key ring with spotlight).Spouses eye each other knowingly at the tightfistedness of the clan Cornishman.Out comes the 'Netto' sherry.

1pm:Argument with uncles, dad, etc about drinking venue and opening hours.Pick the one pub which has decided to close on Xmas day.Long walk to alternative pub.

2.00pm Getting into the swing.New jumper spotting games and freindly conversation with someone called 'Slitter' who if it wasn't Christmas would be knocking someones teeth out.

2.30pm 'Slitter' knocks someones teeth out.
