why dont avi videos ever play on my computer. they always just come up as sound.

is there a program i can dl or a setting i need to change to play them?

i think you need divx codecs to view avi's with.

Hi Tony

Yeah you will need a DIVX codec, the best one is at divx.com

Download and install the latest version, 5 i think

Installing that will install the codec to your computer, so you can use Windows Media Player to watch the films, it will also install the DIVX player which you can use, I havent really noticed a difference between the the DIVX player or the Windows Media.
