Ok, it's my nephews Christening today, a good excuse for all the ladies in the family to cluck over him and generally be puke-inducing, whilst the blokes check their watches and wonder when they can get to the pub. (I'm not even going to be drinking as I'm still ill
)
Anyway, I digress. The point of this post is this: I know already that when I get to the christening that although Dylan is a boy, he's going to be dressed in a cream coloured DRESS!! Why do people insist on doing this? Not only do they try and drown the poor little bugger, but they dress him up like a girl whilst they do it! In years to come, when Dylan brings his girlfriends round to meet the family they'll drag out his christening photo's and show his girlfriend - now I'm sure most of the guys reading this would agree that they'd rather be dressed in something cool than a dress in the photos being shown to their new girl.
When I have kids I'm dressing my son in jeans and a top for his christening.
