Proberbaly none of you will care but still. This afternoon BTopenworld servers completely Crashed - no e-mail(inc. spam), no broadband, no dial up, nothing - Looks like they've got what they have been asking for a long time, to show who exactly puts the food on their plates. To top of my afternoon the guy on the other end of the server status line sounded like he was having a really bad day (no engineers so he has to do it all).

freeserve are doing an offer where you get the first three months for something like 9.99 a month.

That reminds me, I have to cancel the Direct Debit for freeserve.

tell them not to. go with any other ISP other than BTo. Eclipse & Nildram are supposed to be good

yep. i'm now on 33k line in devon. i don't think it even qualifies as narrowband, i'm going to name it tinyband

bt anytime wotsit limits your hours freeserve doesnt. i got my first 3 months in freeserve at £6.99

How come Gaspode? I've just switched to Freeserve Anytime and it's £9.99 for 3 months.

I think my first 3 months on freeserve were £6.99, then after that it went up to £9.99 a month. A bit ago the prices got put up though.

Mine's £9.99 for first 3 months then £14.99 after that. I'm going to cancel after 3 months anyway, but I didn't tell them that.
