Right then, I've done the lyrics, who said they could play an instrument and record the Jingle Bells backing track? It's jingle bells, so it's pretty easy to play. I could do it my end, but I lost the adapter to get it into my PC.

Exactly! Bells and Wails, don't rhyme at all, not even close, unless your accent is strange.

For a word to rhyme it has to end with the same sound. i.e Ells so bells rhymes with smells, tells, gels, nell's, etc. Wails ryhmes with wales, tales, males, sails, sales etc etc etc. Thats not being picky, it just doesn't rhyme! And as a side point, it isn't a good line BUt I have none better so I'm not complaining at that.

By the way, I thought, due to time, that the idea waqsto do a song unrelated to a particualr time of year so that it would have more chance of airplay.

but I have written many a song for our band that has been apreciated by the people at our gigs etc over the years and I seem to remember that a certain Chris Moyles played 5 different versions of will's music that I'd CREATIVELY produced on about 8 different occassions. I play 4 different instruments well and have the equivalent of three Art A levels....Hmmm, me thinks Creativity might be one of my strong points but I never claimed to be a genius

Oh and since when has a song thats been particularly crfeative made the top 5? most top of chart stuff is pop music, music which lacks creativity as it is all the same, they even nick drum parts from other songs etc and just speed them up and add a few effects, add a different melody and bob's your uncle a new tune!
