if someone were to shoot him then it would finally be interesting. if someone did it they should give em a medal... i mean only wound him. killing him would be a step too far...

Channel 4 wrote:David Blaine was last night woken when a man began firing paint bombs at his Perspex box.

At 3am this morning the man, located in a nearby derelict building, used a catapult to launch several missiles, one of which hit the rear wall of the box, spraying pink paint on its exterior.

BBC News wrote:A 28-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage for allegedly throwing pink paint at the box illusionist David Blaine has made his temporary home.

Blaine allegedly woke to find the clear Perspex box he plans to spend 44 days in without food splattered with pink paint which was fired in balloons.

Henry Cookson of Fulham, west London, was arrested in the early hours of Friday at the site of Blaine's stunt.

Anybody going to bother watching Blaine come out of his box on Sky One tonight?

I would if I had Sky One. It's on Channel 4 tomorrow anyway though.

He's out...

- he looks like death warmed up
- he's lost over 4 stone (they weighed the guy before letting him get off to hospital)
- he made a speech to the crowd and burst into tears
- and apparently if he's re-fed too soon there's a chance of a sudden heart attack 8O

oh and for anybody watching on Channel 4 tomorrow, (I presume it's going to be the same show as on Sky One tonight) don't bother to watch until about 9.45 as the first 45 minutes is just dull and full of ads

Hmm, watch a man in a box or go down the pub for a few drinks. Hard decision that.

That was a bit of a waste of time. I learnt more from three minutes on Sky News than an hour on Sky One.

Fairly. Good weekend this weekend actually, although I didn't win the pub quiz tonight.

between day 39 and day 42 whilst msn were "keeping us up to date on blaine with photos and news" this is what they had to say about him:

The Daily Mail reports that a man jumped off Tower Bridge into the River Thames near Blaine's box, watched by hundreds of horrified spectators who had come to watch Blaine. He has not been seen since. Police are searching the river for his body.

so they have to stretch to stealing a story about an unrelated man who commited suicide near him... IN 3 DAYS OF UPDATES!
