i watched the first series of friends when it was first aired on channel 4 i got bored of it after 3 or 4 eps.

and havent watched it since, even though i did get a free series 7 dvd with my dvd player back in 2001--hasnt been played.

EDIT:To answer your question Adam.(and not be accused of spamming: same post)

Adam wrote:Just a question - but why did you have so many usernames?

if you notice i only used to stay between 1 day to 14 days
i got bored and ran out of things to say, so in some cases i used to come back after a few days or up to a month so i always changed my username, delete my signatures and change my email address, to one that existed in 2000 therefore making the account inactive (and making sure i couldnt get to it)

 you asked

Did that not get you hooked?

I know it's not regarded as "cool" to like Friends anymore, but I still think it's one of the best shows on TV. People moan cos it's repeated too much but I still find each episode just as funny, no matter how many times I see it.

I taped the full final series on E4 today - 2 till 9pm. I was trying to multitask - watch Friends, revise and listen to today's show all at the same time...needless to say I failed miserably. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night, but I'm a bit sceptical about this "evil big brother" thing. Like I've said before, it makes good sense starting it tomorrow from a ratings point of view, but entirely overshadows the end of Friends. Should be interesting to see how the ratings compare. Also, Derren Brown on C4 at the moment is great. Moyles should get him on the show.

I can take or leave it. Watch it if there's nothing else on, but wouldn't go out and buy the DVDs. I think I've only seen about 10 episodes in full. I'll probably watch it tomorrow though, even though I'm sure it'll be shit.

The theme seems to be freaks and gays this year...

Marco's a tosser, Kittens a silly bitch, but Emma seems ok.
Not sure if i've got the attention span this year though.

I can't be arsed. I thought Friends was brilliant and then turned off after about half an hour of BB cos it was like some kind of freak show. I will probably need to watch a few bits cos I review and Moyles will talk about it (hopefully not as much when he's in Portugal), but in general I'm not going to watch this year.

From the people I saw, Emma seemed the nicest and funniest...but she's from round my end so I'm a little biased.

You're having a laugh right? After only watching last nights coverage from channel 4 he is the most annoying person ever. Screaming and jumping before every single word isn't funny.

There doesn't seem to be a 'normal' male this year.

Firstly, davina mcall in her pinstrip suit last night....corrrrrr. Nice to see her not pregnant and looking pretty damn fit.

First two enterances were brilliant.

marco- over the top gay who hates asylum seekers and homophobia.
next, ahmed- withdrawn asylum seeker who is homophobic.

I was quite pleased when they wheeled out ahmed. Possessing the looks of an I.T technician and the charm of....an I.T technician it was a resreshing change to see someone who looked vaguely normal. Could this be a year where we have 'real, everyday people on the show,' I thought. My theory was shattered when a man in a jock strap came bounding down the isle.

How many bloody gay people are in it this year! I sense theres going to be some sexuall harrasment lawsuits this year given that lanky hairdresser who like to cop of with straight blokes. I hope that egotistical bloke with the four top grade a levels gets bumed like a little bitch this year.

Most annoying character so far has to be the lesbian political activist. Very full of her own self importance as she flipped the bird to the cameras and threatened to not enter the building cause she couldn't find her girlfriend. looking like a cross between jarvis *, perry from kevin & perry and popeye. Luckily (??!! or not) she managed to find her girlfriend and looking at the state her I'm not suprised the lesnbian activist wants to lock herself away for 10 weeks.

I thought the last contestant was set up to be a celebrity. Now that would have been a good idea. Alas it was a fat portugeese transexual. Or it could have been jono from heart fm.......i'll keep you updated.

Well I'm really looking forward to the rest of it this year, there are so many guarenteed arguements to come already, the homophobia one will probably be the most interesting. And that Lesbian Activist?? She's going to make it worth watching alone. And I don't mean because she's attractive or anything...

that sounds like a bunch of gays. you'd never see so many on one american tv show... at least not so many who aren't parodies of stereotypical gays.

thank god i'm too lazy to watch german tv. none of this crap for me!

First impressions - they are all freaks. Excellent.

Apparently Ahmed is a 'voluntary lawyer'. Eh? Sounds like a bit of a paradox? I also want to know what subjects the bloke who got 4 As at A level took and how much he paid for them. I could tell there was something odd about that transsexual before she mentioned it. And the feminist and history of art student - genius.

Ratings are best ever apparently - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainmen ... 757901.stm

All the guys are either gay or up their own arses. There's not one attractive straight male.

to add to that all the girls are either gay (short hair tomboy- typical lesbian stereotype) or pig-dogs

i bet every other person (male) on here actually think they are good looking

i normally can sit down and watch it for a couple of hours a day

but having no good looking women in there and the constant dipping of the sound

sad fact- last year the streaming was on 2 different camera's and audio
i noticed they dip the sound for no reason most of the time-- because i recorded 1 stream on one tape and the other audio on another-- when it had the same audio they dip the sound for minutes on one of them and leave the other audio on.

that really p***ed me off because they were dipping the sound for no reason (most of the time)

this year though they only have 1 stream but i cant be arsed
even at night they dip the sound every few of minutes for a few minutes each time, lazy b*****ds.

i'll stick to listening to Moyles talk about it and the C4 shows
