Does anyone have any clips of Chris Moyles and the team talking about the 7/7 Attacks - presumably they did as it was before they went off air. Any Newsbeat on it possibly?

Chris wasn't on air when the attacks took place, Scott Mills was covering for a fortnight.

The first report was on Newsbeat at 09:30. There was a special bulletin at 09:45.

At 10am - instead of handing over to Jo Whiley - there was another special Newsbeat report, and yet another at 11am.

I have the Newsbeat clips throughout the morning if anyone wants them.

Hi guys. Yeah, it was Mills covering for Moyles. I don't actually have the original clips, but Chappers did look back on 7/7 as part of the 2005 end of year review. The clip of that is here (which does feature the newsbeat reports)

It was Moyles.

I was in Plymouth at the time and I remember him saying about a plane hitting the towers. At the time me and my mate pictured a light aircraft but obviously it wasn't.

We knew something was up when he went all sombre and the team all disappeared.

Does anyone have the clip - i mean when they were on air, be it newsbeat or Moyles, they must have seen the TV, and commented straightaway, or if a song was on, then right after the song.

I remember clearly the 9/11 attacks starting during Mark & Lard, they stopped what they were doing to talk about what they could see happening on the TV. For some reason I didn't switch on my tv and so had no idea of the magnitude of it all, so mainly i remember just being annoyed that they didn't do 'Lard's Classic Cuts'.

Slightly random (actually that should proabaly be my signature) but On the night Diana died I'd just got back from travelling and was in a car on the way home and every station had slow sedate music playing, lots of news etc...except one where no-one had put the obit tape on and was playing loads of upbeat pop and dance music like Take That - Could it be magic. Can't remember which station it was. First I heard of 7/7 was on Mills. Living in London, loads of my friends take tube to work, so promptly phoned all their work numbers. Anyone who was in London at the time knew someone who had been affected in some way by it all.

When 7/7 happened I was in bed. I woke up, logged into my computer and saw emails from my bro saying call my parents, and the next one asking me to turn my phone on. They thought I was still working. I was on here reading messages of a huge power surge on the tube before realising what had actually happened.

9/11 i was in spain and got loads of text messages from my mum going oh my god a plane has just crashed into the world trades centre and then another saying another one had

all the tourists forgot about sunbathing and watched tele all day

7/7 i was at work ringing all my friends in london to make sure they were ok... it was 2 days before my wedding

I was on my way to my ex's graduation ceremony on that day. Was interesting how the story formed throughout the day, it started off as a "power surge", of course it all became more obvious later on.

9/11 - I was in a mcdonals in Nottingham, it cam on the radio and the whole place just went silent.

Diana - I woke up and turned the tv on and its was breaking news.

7/7 - I can't remember think it was a case of waking up and putting the news on (which I tend to do a fair bit) - I heard them start with the power surge information.

9/11 - I was working in London and the IT manager sent an email round the company with the news article. Spent the rest of the day watching it on t'internet.

Diana - got up to do my paperround and my dad told me. I laughed cos I thought he was taking the piss.

7/7 - Was at work, got an email from Mrs Topher to say about power surge, etc - spent the whole day looking on the BBC for updates.
