I thought Chris' comments were well funny, i'd not heard a few of his fat japes before (baptised @ seaworld was a new one on me!). To be honest I had no idea what Ditto lokoed like, but after googling her, I hardly feel Chris' comments were off the mark. From the pics I looked at shes big, and proud of it - if she had a problem with her size i'm guessing she'd wear less lycra in te public eye.

And as Chris pointed out, to then repeat his comments in a national tabloid just extended the audience that those comments would reach, hence making a mockery of the whole complaint. Suppose these tabloid *anchors have gotta fill pages with sommat.....

I'm not sure what I feel about it. I guess the idea is that being big, Moyles is allowed to mock others who are big, like black people being allowed to say the N word. But I read a lot about the FA (fat acceptance) movement and I can't say as I support cruel comments, no matter who is making them. There is a well established theory that insults like that say more about the person making them than the one they are directed at...
