I was watching Moulin Rouge at the weekend and I noticed a Character called Harald Zidler and I thought: "Maybe Sidla is Simon Hayes own version!" So where did everyone get their names? I know where ZAQAZ and I got our names and I now have a theory about Sidla, but what about the rest of you? Nablo, smellykid, gigglyboobs... (Adam and Hoare need not apply )

Well ok, it's a fairly dull story though...

There was this lad I used to go to primary school with who used to shorten peoples names and put 'zalar' on the end. There was one boy called Ben Monks and he got called Bezalar, another boy called Stephen Johnson who got called Jizalar and I got called Sizalar. Obviously all these names are are a mouthful so they naturally got shortened. My nickname then became Sizla then Siz. Siz gradually changed to Sid somehow and then that changed to Sidla. Some people still call me Sid, but not many these days.

Come to think of it though, everyone still knows Stephen Johnson as Chiz even to this day.

On the bus home, someone threw my shoe down the bus, I laughed uncontrollably, then someone called me Gigglyboots...voila!

What a boring story, sorry people - so it has stuck with me, I use it for a few internet things, and its pretty good as no ones registered it before me, lol.
