After just looking at a recent discussion in the guestbook, I felt this was a good area to discuss.

I hate people who take the piss out of people with ginger hair. I think it's worse than racism. I don't have ginger hair myself, but I know a few people who have ginger hair and they're all really nice people. Moyles is one of the worst people for doing this, after his comments on the ginger haired girl out of Girls Aloud. Imagine how people must feel if they're called ugly because of the colour of their hair!

I think its funny. Most of the people who make comments about people with ginger hair are just taking the piss and don't actually mean it, but i can see how you would compare it to racism...but it's not as mean...and more funny....just like blondes are called for being thick,and other strereotypes that we all no aren't true.

It's in general something I don't really think about but Chris's comments about Nicola (Girls Aloud) has actually really pissed me off. She's quite pretty, she's just not stereotypically sexy, and because of this she's got a slating. It's even more annoying by the fact she's the only one in that band who has some talent, she's got an amazing singing voice. But Louie hates her because she's not sexy enough and therefore she'll never get to show off her talent. Have you seen the video? She really does hardly appear in it.

As for the stereotyping thing, as a blonde I can honestly say that blonde jokes don't bother me in the slightest. In fact it makes life easier, if I do someat idiotic I just get "stupid blonde!" and its forgotten, whereas alot of my other hair-coloured friends will get teased for weeks. That could just be because my friends are used to me being stupid though!

Theres nothing wrong with ginger people in general, i mean its just another hair colour. They usually get the ginger pubes name calling in our school. But saying that, there are no ginger haired people in my year at school, so its not something I think about too often anyway.
