Funny how nobody else has picked up on this.
Instant Controversary In A Nutshell
1. Wear a school uniform
2. Get Wet (whilst in uniform)
3. Tongue each other
4. Done by 2 17 year old Russians
If you havent a damn clue what im on about, I talk about a band called T-A-T-U. These are 2 Russian girls who have went straight to Most Requested on the BOX and from that brief synopsis, its probably easy to see why. Are they lesbians, who knows, reports say that they are humping some boyband in Russia called Smash and other sources say they are going to marry each other. Its a turn to the slightly surreal. MTV Italy have banned the video as have Switzerland, but then again the Swiss arent really the purveyors of high blood pressure in their dull country.
Fancy going to one of their gigs, this is what happened in March this year
"A recent concert by girl duet Tatu at the Park Avenue Disco nightclub escalated into a very real orgy, the weekly Express-Gazeta reported. The concert started late, temperatures were high inside the overcrowded club and the crowd got overheated. In an effort to save the party, Tatu's Lena Katina, 17, and Yulya Volkova, 17, made an original decision: They told the audience to strip.
It didn't take the excited clubbers long to get the message. First five girls climbed onto the stage, stripped and started kissing and touching one another, and then they were joined by five young men. And then the lights suddenly went out...
The situation then spiraled out of control: The tiny stage was jammed with half-dressed people kissing, groping and trying to have sex."
Indeed, I have looked at their album and it has a song called How Soon Is Now?, possibly a Smiths cover, god knows and one called G.ay B.oy
