I got a DVD player (previously I had to watch DVD's on my computer or Playstation) - although I am more obsessed with mp3 cd's which it can play than the actual DVD's - I can now listen back to the whole of Moyles in American I put on CD without having to do it through my computer.

Got the best of Father Ted on DVD. Plus a collection of clothes and money.

got that last month. Very good, especially the running commentry by the writers and the whole 20 minute scene when Allan is bored and sitting in his car with Lynn (the TV only showed a 5 minute cut version.)

I got a watch which is too big for me. Went to the shops to get it adjusted and all the frigging shops were shut! Shop workers have no consideration that's what I say! Got a new processor for my PC too, which was much needed, and all the usual stuff one associates with Christmas. Oh, and a shower-proof radio - finally, music while I bathe!

Depends what kind of films you like, but I personally would go for:

Lock Stock/Snatch
Face Off
Happy Gilmore (I know, I know, Adam Sandler knows no sense of irony, but this is a funny film)
Pulp Fiction
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (golden oldie)
Hard Men (not very well known, very under-rated, IMO)

Get a membership at Blockbusters (if you hven't already got one) - Watch before you buy it!

That's a REALLY good idea - thanks! I'm also gonna get Goldeneye I think as it's the only Brosnan Bond film I don't have, and it's probably my favourite.
