Could someone please explain - I don't understand why everyone who's not in the house can't view the Diary Room thread.

Everyone who IS in the house, however, can view it.

this is completely the opposite from the way it works on the TV show - people talk in the diary room and it's put out on the programme so the general public can see it, but the other housemates don't know what's been discussed in there.

That'd be a bit hard to do. It was meant to be that no-one could see it apprt from BB but no-one could post in it so it was changed.

it just seems a bit topsy-turvey. I'm not having a go or anything as I'm sure it took ages for Chris to set up and even if it didnt then he gives up enough of his time on the site!

I was just curious cos in the actual Big Brother house the housemates' every move is seen by the public, but they can't see the outside world. In this one, we can't see everything they do but they can still see the "outisde world"

The diary room in 'real' big brother is private. You don't see the live action, you see highlights. Therefore, as Timb correctly says - you will eventually see edited highlights.

calm down sidla - its only a messageboard. calling them twats is a little harsh. the first moylesworld big brother was good. the second wasnt as successful. chris put a bit of effort amd to be honest i wonder why he actually bothers with some of us. without the members the board and site would be poor - just that i personally think that. the big brother experience for chrismoyles.net died from the first day - i could see that coming before it started.

lozza was easily the most interesting in there and she was fun to read.

If they all had it set in their brain that they were going to leave when the going got tough, why bother entering? It ain't harsh, it's people behaving irationally that has caused my anger. Haha Sidla was like that in Chat last night, not obvious he'd been drinking or owt.

I do think a few people actually made an effort to make it intersting to read, mainly Loz n Topher.

The first MWBB got some bad feedback but at least the people in it were entertaining and put effort into it to make it funny.
Looks like we'll not be having another one of them again.

I did make an effort friday night but after that it got boring and so I couldnt really be bothered. The reason why I left is because I didnt like the way that some of the people in there were being treated. So there you go Sidla

Would be crap if everyone got on. It only became boring because some people didnt put the effort in to make in interesting. People leaving just ended it, doesnt change how some people will be treated.

i was just starting to launch an attack against lozza and topher to liven things up.

However, considering I did a large part of the leg work (and got bugger all from it) last year i wasn't going to bother putting in any effort till later in the contest. Mind you I'm pleased that the house was shut down as it wouldn't of mattered how much I worked my arse off this year, I'd still get a negative response ala last year. Last year had some quality bitching in it yet most people read only a few threads and declared it shit. The same lot which love to criticise but do * all for this board (like hoare for example who royally slagged of the original contest, then in his usual boastfull way declared he was going to provide the 'entertainment' in the second one then ran away like a schoolgirl within a couple of days).

Quite frankly go * yourself. I can't be bothered posting on here anymore because decent posts are laid to the way side in favour of shitty topics of conversation. There are few incentives to come up with original funny conversations as these are usually demoted to page 2 in favour of topics based on peoples personal lives.

Finally muchos respect to the harris-man who put in a lot of effort into the mwbb thing and got shafted by naive idiots and ego driven timewasters. Sometimes I wonder why he bothers.
