I was just listening - did I say listening?, I mean baring through gritted teeth Big Bruvaz(sic) new 'song' when I was tickled by the embarrassing lyrics - but more the mispronounciation of the lyrics; what really made me chuckle was the 'I'll turn you into a shopa-HOLE-ic' - side-splittingly funny - you would think before they put out this rubbish they could at least learn how to pronounce the English language. I am just providing you with some recent examples here - feel free to add the ones that really make you laugh; here are some I've picked out.
Elton John - I want Love... 'I wan't LURVE' I know this is an almost cliched way to pronounce 'Love', but he really sais it with a seemingly careless disregard for English. Leaves me in stiches.
Enrique Iglesias - Love to see you cry. 'Tell me WAAR, WAAR , but I love to see you cry'. OK,so he's Spanish and English isn't his first language - but surely he should know how to pronounce a common word like why.
Sophie Ellis-Bexter - ...can't remember the name of the song, but it goes... 'I'll show you Heav -UN', Now we all know about Heaven, but I wonder exactly what this 'Heavun' is she is referring to? But we must take our hat off to Sophie, because almost all artists put on a so-called 'Trans-Atlantic accent' , but Norwich born Sophie is the only British artist that I know of who sings all her songs in an Australian accent.
