The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Sorry folks, Uglybob is wrong.

I am back. We're just trying to cover the show in a different way this year.

So, did you enjoy Fame Academy then? How about Celeb FA?

If we were to cover it it would mean trails for Moyles on BBC1 and BBC3, exclusive stuff with the students coming in to perform, house link-ups with the studio etc

All good for the show, no? Plus there's no Chris' TV show to go up against Fame Academy which surely must help everyone here surely?

What are your thoughts. (Constructive please!)

The last Fame Academy seemed to target the older audience so will the songs they perform actually fit in with Radio1, the playlist and target audience Radio1 appeals to (like Pop Idol does) ?

Obviously it would be good for the show having trails and attracting the TV viewers to the Radio show aswell, but if Fame Academy is a flop associating the Chris Moyles show with it could have a negative affect aswell.

the celeb stuff was much better because it was funny so it entertained more ppl, like bb has very funny moments and ppl like it because it makes them warm to the characters (bit of character theory there) so you want to watch more.

however FA just seems to be a bit dull and doesnt entertain me, the only good bits are when you lot cover it and liven it up by telling us some funny stuff. maybe more involvement would be good if thats the case because the team could help to make it more interesting?????

I never remembered the name of the geezer who won until I saw it on the back of a road sign in MK the other day and that was the first I'd heard of him since FA finished. Couldn't even name a song or album.

I think they need more alcohol in the academy it makes the tv shows more interesting.

Could you not have competitions on Radio 1 to win tickets for the live shows? I know the people on the balcony are their families but to me the people around the stage look like normal fans.

I never got interested in FA one and the only reason CFA was ntertaining was because the point of it was to have fun. With FA 2 the point of it will still be annoying brats trying to make themselves famous so I couldn't care less about it. The fact that it is my money being spent on it also makes me slightly peeved.

I like Fame Academy.

I shouted when David Goody Two Shoes Sneddon won it, cos sinead was ropey she lost it. I watched Fame academy even when it was up against moyles, as that show was shite and i live in an area where five isn't available. That said gas isn't availble.

Pop Idol is dire. ITV flog a dead horse to death and kill it again

ITV are more interested in Simon Cowell rather than the singers even if you see the trails.

Fame Academy is lacking a certian somethnig which makes shows like BB big. Perhaps it is the alcohol or the incredible amount of hype, or perhaps its becasue it's shown on the BBC, which isn't as cutting edge as Channel 4. It all just seems a bit dull, and like it doesn't appeal to a wide auience.

I don't think dumping rubbish everywhere would help with the ratings.

Radio 1 IS covering it. I AM involved in it this year. I'm testing the water to see how much coverage if any should be done in Moyles' show - hence the questions.

You should still cover it after 5 just to fill a link and give you something to do again.

if you do it in a way such that none of you care about it, it could be quite funny.
