Image

Saturday 28th August Bank Holiday Weekend
Old Liverpool Airfield, Speke, Merseyside, 3pm - 6am

Creamfields: Saturday August 28th 2004: Summertime is here! Its time to kick back and dance alfresco once again to our favourite Live acts & DJs in a field that delivers the greatest dance festival line up this year. The UK’s most loved dance festival is back for its 7th year boasting 7 arenas and 2 Outdoor stages guaranteed to give this years summertime the best send off ever!

We are pleased to announce that headlining this years Creamfields Outdoor Stage are the undisputable Chemical Brothers. This will be the first time that Tom & Ed have ever performed live at Creamfields, and if you were one of the 1 billion people to have witnessed their performance at this years MTV Europe awards you wont want to miss this! Joining them on the main stage will be the stunning and ubercool Goldfrapp performing live as the sun goes down and the awesome Scratch Perverts and Dynamite MC delivering some raw cutting edge material!

This year Creamfields will be debuting 2 new arenas which include the Underwater Vs Circus Arena hosted by Darren Emerson & Yousef, amongst the talent we can expect to see a debut performance from Radio 1’s Tim Westwood and a live performance from Tim Deluxe, Mark Farina, Josh Wink, Mutiny, Paul Jackson, Lewis Boardman and the lovely Lottie, no doubt expect some slapstick unplanned surprises on the day as well! Another newcomer to the Cream family is the Tidy Arena, bringing with them the gladiators of hard house including, Lisa Lashes, Yoji, Tidy Boys and BK to name but a few! Last years Essential Mix Arena remained road blocked from start to finish and judging by this years line up, will be once again. Joining Radio 1’s Pete Tong and performing at Creamfields for the first time will be Deep Dish they will be joined by Jeff Mills, Layo & Bushwacka, Danny Howells + many more.

The impressionable Erick Morillo will be returning with his Subliminal stable to cause more mischief, to what has become one of the most popular arenas at the festival, this year its been made bigger but promises to keep its intimate vibe, he will be joined by the genre breaking AudioBullys, Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero, Jorge Jaramillo (Who Da Funk), Jose Nunez, Shawnee Taylor (Live) and for the first time performing in the Subliminal Arena Radio 1’s Seb Fontaine.

We are pleased to welcome on board GoodGreef who for the first time will be co-hosting the Main Arena with Mixmag joining the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Buuren, Judge Jules Fergie, Tall Paul and Paul Van Dyk who will be flying in from his Cream Ibiza residency they will be bringing with them their best homegrown talent including Eddie Halliwell, Adam Sheridan, Shan & Alex Kidd. And of course Creamfields just would’nt be the same without the Radio 1 Outdoor Stage, they return once again with their herd of Allstars ready to turn the heat up as soon as the gates open!

Creamfields is not just about the music, other attractions on the day include the legendary 5-aside Football Tournament and full on fairground for the adrenalin junkies. Perhaps a spot of Water Pistol Roulette or Pole Dancing (boys & girls!) is your bag, all of which can be found in the Aftershock Arena. Or perhaps you’d rather dance under the sun with a cabaret of DJ talent in the Strongbow Rooms or take a trip back to the summer of love and basque in the warmth of the Creamfields sunshine in front of a fully transformed ‘VW Camper Van Mobile Disco’ hosted by Gurn.net.

The free spirit of Creamfields is one of unbridled hedonism an experience that will leave us with unforgettable memories of a moment in time that can never be repeated. Creamfields is a state of mind, a happening that exemplifies our generation, its one big groovy womb of love, music and friends. This is the greatest time of our lives lets enjoy it!

Liverpool Central, Moorfields, James Street and Lime Street, which is the City's main train station, serving local and national routes.

another ways to get out of liverpool:..

Hackney Cabs
There are plenty of Hackney Cabs (or Black Cabs) operating in Liverpool, especially in the City Centre. You can either hail a passing Hackney cab or you can go to one of the City Centre's Taxi ranks.

The Hackney Cab ranks are located at Lime Street Station, James Street Station, Adelphi Hotel, Whitechapel, Sir Thomas Street and Chinatown

AND:..

Liverpool City Centre has two major bus stations - Paradise Street Bus Station and the Queen Square Bus Station. Other main bus stops can be found at Victoria Street, Sir Thomas Street, London Road and Renshaw Street.
