First off I want to say that I'm a big fan of Chris and his show. I know some people will think I am slating all of R1's DJs after my comments about M&L and C&E but here goes anyway.

Has anyone noticed how many jokes and catchphrases Moyles' steals from other people? Okay so the Bo' Selecta ones like the Vernon Kaye impression are so obvious virtually no one would think Chris came up with that himself but some are a lot more subtle.

It does annoy me when Moyles' says things like "what's that?" in a high-pitched yorkshire accent because that is a Peter Kaye catchphrase that not many people would recognise (download the comedy store stand up skit off Kazaa and you'll see what I mean).

He has done it with other people too but I can't remember them all.

Well...... He says Hollyoaks in a avid merrion way, as he started saying it after he interview avid (a few times) and the peter kaye thing..... just appeling to the target audience... and hes not trying to pass it off as his own, hes just saying them... if anything, the original writers should be glad that The Saviour on the Offical Biggest Show EVER is saying them!

I disagree. It's not a famous catchprase and he never credits it to Peter Kaye so IMO he is trying to pass it off as his own.

I don't belive any comedian who has come up with something funny would be 'glad' if someone else was making money off using their work, would you be?

there all tag lines to comedies that he enjoys... and if the artists in question have any problem with chris saying them on air (as all of us do in our day to day lives) then they should take it as flattery, that chris is a fan of their work, and that he wants to share this with the nation.

Totally irrelevant seen as the words "What's that?" aren't copyrighted as far as I know, unliek songs are. It's not even a joke, two words.

And it's ironic you say Moyles is stealing Peter Kays jokes. Alot of Kays stuff is just old jokes.

To elaborate though I do like the specialist shows they do like Tongy, Jules and Seb etc

Try posting something other than about the Chris Moyles' Show. Every little detail of his show should not be under scruity. Have you actually talked about other things than his show? Do you really care if his jokes are stolen or not? I certainly dont. As long as he's on the Radio and this place is still around, I'm happy.
