I listened to scott Mills this morning and I just dont think there is any comparison to Chris, I dont think ill be able to put up with Scott for two weeks, it's gonna be back to local radio for a while.

i'll be polite, he's rubbish as with all other dj's i hate
(i'm not gonna list them again- i think i've expressed enough what i think of the several dj's i hate over these months)

i'm glad moyles has 2 weeks off- as it gives me a lie in (for now) and time to listen to some bits of shows i've missed over the past year

oh and i used to listen to mills when he always filled in for cox on a hour and a half bus route to college that was hell
i doubt he's improved over the past 2/3 years also recently between 1-3 last year so i know what it's like to listen therefore my opinion has reason

Mills is very good. Completely different style to Moyles, but good listening all the same.

The jingles were funny, wheter or not Scott or Moyles composed them I dunno...

Yeah, I agree. I think that Mills, along with Moyles, is the best DJ at Radio 1

I'd go along with that. Like David said, Scott has a very different style to Moyles but is still really entertaining.

The jingles were also top class (about time there were some new ones - even if they were for a different presenter). I've transcripted all the jingles and posted them in the jingles thread in the sound requests forum.

I agree with MC and David here in that Scott is very good but different to Moyles yet in a entertaining way.

If there's one criticism i have with Scott regarding him filling Breakfast is he did take a little while to get going where up to about 7:45am, he seemed more keen to play tunes than chat and entertain. After that though, he was fab. The feature using clips of a celeb to phone up random places was the best thing on his weekend show so i'm glad he's still doing it now. Also, the feature where he got his assistant Laura to go into Harrods and dress in scuba [sp] diving gear had me in hysterics. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow! The only feature i'm not keen on though is that fact hunt one he did with Chappers towards the end. All in all, if today is anything to go by, he'll be more than capable of keeping us entertained till Moyles returns...

I like him and todays show was a refreshing break from Moyles. I think Scotts shows seem more laid back. I like his style and he comes up with some good features which seem to create alot of listener interaction which must be good. I'd put him up with Moyles as a favourite Dj. I think his style will work well on afternoons.

I personally now prefer scott mills to moyles, even though I hated his guts a couple of months ago. For the first time in months I've actually used the listen again.

I'd go as far to say that I prefer Mills to Moyles. Didn't hear much of him today cos i was half asleep, but need to get up early(er) tomorrow, so should hear more.

I will reserve judgement about Mills' go at the breakfast show until he gets in the flow a bit more, say after a week.

Thats the funniest thing on Mill's show. The Homer Simpson one is the funniest tho.

Mills is excellent. Great shows these past two days. The phone calls are alright, Britney's wasn't as good as the Bo Selecta one.
