anyone noticed that some of the running order pages on the moyles site are either inaccurate or have some other problem with them?

eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... tml?040819 & http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... tml?040820

shud actually be the other way round date wise.

also http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... tml?040809 & http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... tml?040810 are exactly the same.

it makes u think who actually works for bbc online.

The people who work at Radio 1 are, in pretty much every case, incredibly busy and over stretched people. This is doubly true when it comes to their underfunded and perhaps slightly over ambitious website. So I reckon we can probably let them go with this one.

That said, there's a link on Radio 1 online that allows you to report broken pages and links. More people should use it as it always gets things fixed.

talk about a job being WAAAAAAAAAAAY down on the list of priorities!

it's probably something extra they asked someone to do for 2 minutes every day and they do it as quickly as possible because it's so dull

some people are never satisfied

Well I'll let you in on a little showbiz secret here. The original plan for that page when it began was for me to do the little running order bits for them. It was when this place and R1 Online were trying to work together, and I even spoke to Aled about it on the phone too.

He was having problems sorting it out though cos I'm not a BBC employee, so in the end the idea just fizzled out. I presume the show log Dave keeps (as Ben Stiller discussed t'other day) is what the notes come from now - and they're just put down by the team in Online later. Could be wrong though..
