Radio 1 was great, then it went bad, then it became great again, then it went bad, now its becoming great again... but for how long?

Theres a shot of Moyles in the trailer for it.

Was meant to be this Monday when I first saw it originally advertised, but instead they showed The Curse of Noel Edmonds, which was quite good.

Another "Curse of" programme I saw once was the Curse of Blue Peter, which showed what happend to ex Blue Peter presenters and how once they left BP, they never went on to much afterwards. Entertaingly voiced by Richard Bacon that one.

Yeah, looks liek a good program to watch. I watched the Noel Edmonds one as well, half of the people speaking were just jealous of him and how successful he was.

The Noel one was lazyily produced on a budget of about 50 quid. And that was to hire the blobby suit

Well it's safe to assume that the Curse of Radio 1 will probably have the same production values as the Curse of Noel Edmonds. So don't expect anything spectular or anything new that you didn't know before.

there were a couple of good programmes on bbc4 a few nights ago about radio1 that were quite interesting. wacky

Yeah, I saw them. One on Radio 1 through out the eras, and then Blood On The Carpet which has been on before, but still quite good!

Yeah. I think it was first aired in about 2000, so there wasnt any revolations after 1997.

I really enjoyed the show. Also nice that the last 20 mins or so focused on the new Radio 1 and not just the "good old days".

Bar being branded DLT 2, I think Chris has gotta be pretty happy with his bit. Not only them mentioning the figures but people being (kinda) complimentary towards him an all - especially Nicky Campbell, who I thought hated his guts.

First thing I bet he mentions tomorrow though will be Tarrant doing the voiceover...
