So....Buzz Off! is dead. Buzz Off! the feature which for the last year has revolutionalised lives throughout the country at 7.20 for the last year has finally been taken off the Player.
Buzz Off!, despite being a poular character of the Chris Moyles Show, has been uncerimonily scrapped to make way for a new feature in 2005.
Chris is said to be in a state if mourning whilst Aled is "looking foward" to the new year and the new features which it will bring.
No Flowers.

Wasn't the biggest fan of it, looking forward to something new.

I was shocked to hear it's going, but hey, out with the old, in with the new. And it doesn't long to get annoyed with that opera music type bed before the track is played.

I hope they replace it with a feature that plays old songs.

And not opera music. I think the last couple of months he'd reached the bottom of his CD collection anyway.

Buzz off was only an excuse for Chris to play songs he liked anyway, it was hardly ground breaking radio....

not too bad a feature but not the best one, wonder what the "new feature" will be?

i find that the first hour of the show is quite slow it takes them time to get into it plus they will always save there best features for between 8-10 peaktime

But 6.55 - 8 is about the time school kids and parents are listening. I think it was a bit silly to play the older classics at that time when it's primetime for the younger audience...

How is it? 6:55-8 will be the 'try to wake up the kids and make them get ready in a rush' stage, whilst 8-9 is the drive to school/work with the radio on.

I've got a radio on my MD so that keeps me going... However I never listened to Buzz Off because I was either in the shower or in bed. If its replacement is any good then I might have to listen.
