Bristol so not ridiculously far but I'm still living up there.

My Mum does yes.

60 miles from home. Good, near enough for emergency, far enough to keep 'em at arms length. What sort of digs you aiming for, Halls or private rentage?!

Exactly. I live 35 miles from my parents, it's an ideal sort of distance. Close enough that I can get there in an hour if I need to, far away enough that my mum isn't round criticising my house cleaning skills all the time :)

I'm sure your house cleaning skills are perfect...

That is what women are for...

Carroll Court looks nice, duntit. Shame its no smoking accom though dude, that'll mess with ya smack n crack parties....

Get gym membership though, which is a good thing. Does also mean if you get injured, you'll be getting fixed up in my* hospital, which is just up the road...! Whoop!

* 'Mine' as in I worked on the drawing package for Bristol Southmead, currently under construction.

Yeah it should be good. And obviously gym membership is a good thing for pulling on a night out. :P I quite like the fact that there's a shared Tv point as well which means the cost of a tv license can be split 6 ways and the person with the best tv can bring it. And I'm hoping i won't need the hospital...

After a whole 4 days back at work since last holiday, it all got too much for me, so I have now just booked my next one, for november. Whoop!

Thank You! And did you actually take food up there or buy it when you get there? I'm thinking Freshers is going to be expensive as well. And I still need to decide whether to go as a Smurf or Wally off of Where's Wally...

Take things like rice, pasta, salt and pepper, noodles - cupboard stuff like Lottie said. I sent Miss Yudster off with a reasonable food parcel, but then she cooks - I don't imagine you will. Remember to take some stuff like plates, glasses, knives and forks - pots and pans too, you will probably at least need something to boil pasta in. And cheese. Students seem to live on cheese.
