We currently have no snow in Bristol and I doubt there's any in Worcester either so that hopefully won't be a problem.

And what W word...? Forgotten all about it already... (If only it was that easy.)

Making me smile is the fact that the sn.... sn.... can't say it...sn..ow that fell this morning didn't last long, didn't settle and is not scheduled to return.

People who want it to snow are people with nothing to do and nowhere to go. They should be taken out into the street and shot in front of their families.

Then you doubly deserve to be shot because snow will make your travel plans either impossible, or incredibly difficult and dangerous. So not only should you be shot in front of your family, you parents should be forced to pull the trigger.

Its all about you isn't it? What about me! Me!!!

No. I'm thinking about the kids. I'm happy for my travel plans to be messed up so the little kiddies get to have some fun in the snow in the run up to christmas making snow angels and snow men.

And in my experience children don't LIKE snow - they like the IDEA of it, but when they get out IN it, and find it is * cold, wet and HORRIBLE, they want to go back indoors and get warm. Because children - unlike you, Stinton, are CLEVER.

I'm clever. And snow is amazing. You can worry about the cold later. Every time it snows all the kids flock out to play in it. They don't care about the cold. They just care about throwing snow balls at each other and sledging down hills (which is very fun).

...........actually it is. But the hills are a few miles away and we CAN'T * GET TO THEM BECAUSE THE ROADS ARE ALL BLOCKED WITH SNOWDRIFTS WITH CRASHED CARS IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM!!!!!!!

My commute to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee is much more relaxed than a 3.5 hour drive to Cambridge too :)

Catching up - is that a 3.5 hour round trip or each way??

Sometimes my commute to Cambridge feels it take that long each way!

Also making me smile today is that I left my job today after 6 1/2 years, looking forward to a fresh start and new challenges
