I've got a rough idea.

Making a third one would be a bad idea though.

Yeah it's going to be done via CGI apparently as Murray doesn't get on with Ackroyd & Ramis anymore, so we'll have the original cast but it all be done via CGI. Either way that's better than nothing. :D

No it's not.

You don't like the idea of a CGI version then?

I think as long as the gags & action is spot on then the CGI won't be too much of a problem.

I worry that it would be a farce with the actors significantly older than before and the "CGI" effects would be comical.

Just been looking at some of the tweets from last night's TweetComedy thing (comedy gig on Twitter.. Mark Watson of Mock the Week fame was the headline.)

Some of my favourites:

If you're dying from an epilectic fit does your life flash in front of your eyes? Because that wouldn't help.
Never ask Siamese twins 'can I join you?'
AC/DC’s 1975 Lock Up Your Daughters Tour visited Austria.
In mythology, the Griffin is part lion, part bird. Yet Nick Griffin of the BNP is all *.
When Lionel Richie sang 'I'm easy like Sunday morning', he obviously wasn't trying to use the rail network, otherwise it would be 'I'm * difficult for no apparent reason, like Sunday morning'.
Mission Impossible III was a bit lacking in suspense I thought. 'Well, he's managed two. He'll probably crack this one.'
Why does Cliff Richard never die? Is God keeping him alive to inspire us? Or just putting off having to meet him?

He was on that, yeah - the Welsh fella (not Rod Gilbert or whatever his name is, who finished off, the dark haired Welsh guy). I find him very funny.

This one was good -

I thought Mark Watson was a bit rubbish actually. My favourite from that show was the first one, the unkown Scottish bloke. I thought he was really good. Rhod Gilbert can be funny, but I would prefer it if he did his act in his normal voice, rather that putting on that over-the-top hammed up delivery. I like the Canadian guy too, he's one of Mr Ys favourites . Mr Y is a big stand-up comedy fan, we see lots of the less known people. I can never remember their names either.

I was knackered and falling asleep by the end of it (we watched on the iPlayer Sunday night), so I didn't really see Rhod Gilbert, but I saw him on Live at the Apollo a while back and didn't really find him funny. I also liked the Scottish guy at the start, he was very good, but I did like Mark Watson too.. but not as good as he can be on Mock the Week et al.

I love stand up, but I have only been to a handful of gigs.

I've just been reading about that on MailWatch.

I wonder if those absolutely awful Magners Pear Cider adverts have increased my dislike of Mark Watson? Wouldn't be surprised.

That would have worked if you hadn't stopped me.

charlalottie wrote:If you're going to have 3 actors acting in a film together, then that's precisely what it should be. Murray should just do it anyway, not like he won't be getting paid pretty nicely and also pretty much every poor sod has to work with someone they don't like, why should be any different?

I love Bill Murray. Read a brilliant story the other day about him. http://defamer.gawker.com/5276501/bill- ... elligerent
