Can anybody advise me on the correct ratio of sand to cement in brick laying mortar? Im building a wall, (bricks paid for by the english taxpayer) and I want to get it right.

Yeah of course, my birds dad got some bricks off a bloke down the caravan site and asked if I could build him a bbq. An easy 50 notes in my bin.
